Trend in March 2025: Unchanged

The Economic Diffusion Index (DI) in March 2025 was 43.5, the same as the previous month. The domestic economy was underpinned by increased shopper turnout, but the high prices of food and raw materials were a restraining factor.

Future outlook: Remain unchanged

The economy is expected to remain flat due to increasing uncertainty in the global economy, although it will be supported by IT-related capital investment and other factors.
